What an uplifting story of community, action and Glasgow standing up. Truly wonderful and I’m glad the day gets to live on as a documentary now as well. I remember it happening but there was a much bigger story there too. American friends, one for you if it comes your way.

Really enjoyed Everybody to Kenmure Street and particularly the blending in of Glasgow's history of protest with the story of resisting a dawn immigration raid

‘Everybody to Kenmure Street’ parallels Glasgow’s civil resistance with ICE events in the U.S. (BIFF review)
Really enjoyed watching Everybody To Kenmure Street at Duncan Place today. Great film highlighting the spirit of resistance in Glasgow. Do catch it if you can.
Have just seen Everybody to Kenmure Street. Powerful story of community, and collective history in the face of oppression....and so much more. www.youtube.com/watch?app=de...

EVERYBODY TO KENMURE STREET (2026, A): What incredible (if also incredibly frustrating) timing to have this film's events captured and released now of all times. Especially meaningful to us Madisonians who were around 15 years ago. These weren't our faces, but they ARE our voices. #wifilmfest
Free house for a bit 😍,other half’s out test driving a car, so time to make some beautiful noise. Still haven’t seen the movie yet, but hopefully soon.

Finally got to see 'Everyone To Kenmure Street'.
A very uplifting and reassuring documentary, cleverly put together to achieve a rising tension.
Sold out, too 👍
Finally watched Everybody to Kenmure Street and was so utterly moved by it. A love story to the solidarity and action of people and the community not just an abstract idea of Glasgow being "Awesome".
It was the deliberate actions of courageous neighbours and people.
Everybody to Kenmure Street - Starring Emma Thompson in a very seated role as Van Man. A talking head crowdpleaser that goes well out of its way to show what true resilience looks like, and how face masks turned out to be the best thing to happen to the art of protest. Worth cherishing with a crowd.

In May 2021, a UK Home Office dawn raid triggered one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. Glasgow-based filmmaker Felipe Bustos Sierra recounts the extraordinary events of that day in Everybody to Kenmure Street, playing from this Saturday.
