I would say Yellowhammer with what appears to be a rufous rump showing. Happy to be corrected though ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well I don't claim to be the knowledgeable birder you need but I'll stick my neck out and say I agree.

The gull is a Black headed Gull Blanno. There was an adult Mediterranean Gull there at midday but I don't know how long it lingered.

The Grimley regulars did a Winter All-Dayer today. We did one last about the same date in 2022 and got 85 species which we were pretty pleased with. Today we got 85 species! #worcsbirds

DEFRA aware, tested and avian flu confirmed sadly. It could be horrendous for the wildfowl flocks at Grimley ๐Ÿ˜ž

Who told me and others that someone else had already removed the lock so he had just left the gate wide open. Not quite the same as "it was felt necessary to remove the lock"

I am one of the regular Grimley birders and (for now) a WMBC member. No one ever uses the so called WMBC carpark and never has so feel free to strongly advise whatever you like. The only person who parked where they shouldn't today was your own Worcestershire officer
