I tired playing rhythm heaven ds on my phone with my finger and I was kinda struggling with flicking specifically, but then I looked in my phone settings and the touch sensitivity was WAY low for some reason, so I set it high and it works way better now

It's insane how despite being the first game in the series, rhythm tengoku is still a damn good game, despite some small oddities that the later games would fix

It's insane how much the karate man sequels in the next two games really stepped it up

Probably the laziest and sloppiest way they could have made a sequel to karate man. An embarrassing imitation that defiles the original and couldn't dream of even capturing a fraction of its greatness

Why on earth would anyone want to play this over the original karate man? I guess the tempo changes are supposed to challenge your rhythm, but it just feels so unsatisfying and it kind of ruins the music

They changed the background color and the main gimmick is that the tempo drastically slows down or speeds up at random intervals. With other sequels of rhythm games, even the weaker ones at least have some reason to want to play them over the original

They couldn't have made a new song. They couldn't have made a unique version of the original song. They couldn't have made the punching patterns more interesting instead of more boring than the original.

Karate Man 2 in Tengoku is the worst rhythm game in the entire series

I don't really hate sneaky spirits, but did it really deserve to be one of the 4 Tengoku rhythm games to return in Fever, and also be the only rhythm heaven enemy in smash run?

That was absolutely the hardest thing I've ever done in a rhythm heaven game. Screw the perfects or the challenge train in megamix, this shit made my fingers sore as hell
