Like - is there another notation method I don't know about, which means my four semitones could be depicted using unique symbols, or colours, or shapes, or ...something?

I feel like there must be, but I don't know what it is, so I am stuck.

I have overthought this to the point of exhaustion.

If they are presented as steps: Are the notes the lip of the step, or the valley between? Why/why not?

...I think the simplest answer is like a constellation - four stars/points descending at a 45 degree angle?

Hey algorithm, for years I have been pondering how I could visually portray a descending pattern of four notes without using a traditional clef / stave / accidentals.

(The actual notes are C-B-Bb-A - but that is less important than "four equally-spaced descending semitones".)

(My shrink says it’s okay to fantasize about murder because I probably won’t do it. But I’m not sure if I’ve made clear how often I want to do murder.)
