I made some lemon rolls for my artist with my regular cinnamon roll recipe and just added some poppy seeds to the dough, lemon curd filling, lemon zest(and about a spoon of curd) to the icing, and topped it with some sugared lemon slices. It was a fun experiment. Everyone who ate them enjoyed them, though I tried a bit off of one and didn’t care for the texture much.

The design was from a flash for Valentine’s Day my favourite tattoo artist did(a butterfly with a heart pattern mirrored on the bottom section of the wings. Resembling a tiger butterfly in shape and most of the design as a whole). Apparently I was the only one who chose to do it in colour(pink) rather than a simple black, and I really like how it came out and how it’s healing up.

The other idea for placement would’ve been on my chest, but we decided against it since it looked so good on my bug arm(my right arm where I’ve been putting all of my bug themed tattoos) and the first stencil was placed perfectly anyway. Still gotta figure out what I want for a chest piece if I am to get it done.

I got my star snail in a dark green ink. I plan on getting more star themed bugs over this arm later down the mine.

My sibling got a weevil. He is very well done.

Room reset for the new year. Everything is put away and organized.

Merry crisis everyone.

It was a very warm room. Had to take my sweater off.

Plants were everywhere, including a few golden pothos.

All of the butterflies were very pretty, but I like this one a lot.

I really liked taking all these pictures. I just suck at trying to explain things right now.

We then went to the butterfly conservatory the next day.

This was the first room with the much smaller birds. They were flying around and scaring the shit out of me and my girlfriend.

This was the view immediately after leaving the nocturnal zone. Very beautiful, very peaceful, and very many birds.

I like this one. Very pretty birds.

I don’t know what any of these birds are(aside from the obvious parrots and a crow that was flying around) but right after taking this picture I got shit on. I’m considering it to be good luck for the next year.

Went to Birds paradise.

Made my bed before I left and laid out my pyjamas for tonight.

Dinner from the first night. It was juicier than it looks.

I hate this guy.

Niagara Falls view. Very misty yet still very pretty. But it wasn’t the main event.

Trip for the yet has come and gone.

Spaghetti 8/10 • Canned sauce with ground beef added. • Spaghetti noodles. • Hella salt. • Garlic bread obviously • Can get boring. Good to try new noodles sometimes.

Subway is a 9.5/10. • White Italian bread(sometimes herbs and cheese). • Turkey(always). • No cheese. • Not toasted. • Lettuce. Cucumber. Pickle. Little onion. • Ranch(then I add my own hot sauce ’cause they change it up too often for my comfort). •Used to have ranch and house sauce but it was messier than I ever like.

Shrimp Alfredo 7/10. • Any long pasta with any Alfredo sauce • Frozen shrimp with garlic butter(put in the toaster oven for about 7 minutes and kept there and put on for another 2 before serving). • Frozen vegetables(broccoli, carrots, peppers) microwaved according to instructions. • Left over garlic butter in with the sauce. • Usually yields leftovers. • Yum, but sometimes too much.

Smile fries 6/10. • Basic ‘tism.

I really need to expand my collection of safe foods.

Very small Christmas tree. Everything is from the dollar store, including the tree itself, but I think it looks cute.

The lights are just battery powered but they look great.

First attempt at crocheting a hand rag/trivet/whatever. She likes green do I made sure to use my only green cotton yarn.

Here’s the second one. I didn’t use a pattern for either so I’ll explain what I did. I made a 25X25 square with single crochet, a scalloped border in double crochet starting on one of the edges, went on and on till I made it to one of the corners then did a small tight chain of however many stitches, continued on like I didn’t even do that, then closed it up. Boom.

Lil coaster. For this one(I made three(3) of them) I did 15X15 and pretty much did the same thing as before without that little chain in the corner.

I’m making my girlfriend’s mom her Christmas presents. My fingers locked so I’ll have to continue tomorrow.

I took the backs of the couch off so it’s not as closed in/nest-like. I think I like this better because I can see everything and get up easier if I need to. We’ll see how long this lasts before I have to take it apart again.

Turned my couch into a daybed.

Picked up an actual coffee table off the side of the road today(yesterday technically but I haven’t slept yet so it’s still today). Had to fix up one of the legs/sides with glue, but that’s okay and I love it. It fits nicely.

Fuck you microwave in a tub. You shall be going downstairs and to the kitchen by the end of the month with the rest of the shit in that pile.

New character: Hoziemetromomolicprazanobily Iik. Worm on a string(had to write it down somewhere to even remember how to spell/say it).

Ain’t thems just the cutest? Unfortunately I had to draw them on the toilet because of a potential UTI that’s keeping me awake in a constant state of needing to pee. I love my life(not really but I’ll live). Probably too much info on that one, but nobody reads these if people actually even see these posts anyway, so I don’t care.

Power went out again. Not sure what’s up this time but it’s been nice all day with just bits of wind every now and then—maybe that’s it? It’s all the wind’s fault! My room looks pretty like this anyway, so I can’t complain much.

My baby is growing so fast. I’m so proud!

Made some yummy food(shrimp Alfredo with garlic bread and salad) for me and my sibling and made too much by mistake as expected. We finished the leftovers before going to bed though so it worked out in the end.

We found some pretty lemon stickers at the local thrift the other day and left them behind but ended up getting them literally the next day because they were beautiful. I still have some left after decorating my desk so I’ll be able to put them somewhere else too if I need/want/feel like it.

My room is really coming together and I’m really happy so far. Naturally the open space on the floor is full again with my siblings stuff so they can feel less overwhelmed by it and get everything done comfortably rather than having to tiptoe around everything forever.

I don’t even know anymore. I’ll put the shelf thing by the mirror up over the desk tomorrow and put trinkets up there and put the pin board(last image) under that. I still have a lot to put away and sort but it’s whatever.

At least everything is off of my couch(which is basically my bed for the summer with how hot it is up here) and I can lay down—as I am doing now as I write this. More things to sort out, yay…

Since I am not using my bed to sleep it’s being used for holding things and keeping things off the floor for the time being. And the bean bag is also shoved under the bed because it’s taking up space being in the middle of the room.

I just spent too long on this pin board. It was painted green a couple o’ weeks ago, I painted it black hours ago, it dried, I wiped it off from the frame, and then I just spent a couple of long hours with a white 10mm gel pen and a cramped hand drawing what will inevitably be covered up by shit.

Progress after unknown days:

Got everything/all of my stuff out of the room. It was not as much as I thought but it was tricky nonetheless. We got a desk, shelf, dresser, mattress, and all drawers out for easier lifting.

This is not my brothers room. He is a nerd gamer and a lazy poo-head because I did all of this while he was on his ass, gaming on Roblox. He still had his dresser and his many swords and gaming set up to bring over, but I couldn’t care less about that. Our mother can take care of her perfect eighteen(18) year old baby boy just fine.

This is what it was looking like after bringing everything up, it’s a mess but it’s whatever. I spent a couple of hours sorting though ma junk and put my clothes away. I still need to remake my bed and clean up the rest of the stuff, so I’ll update again whenever that gets done. I live here now so it’ll get done sooner rather than later.

It looks a little bit like a dorm room of some kind of collage or something. It’s echo-y and I don’t like it much.

Everything else in this room will (hopefully) be transported over to my new room on Thursday. I will not be taking the shelf on the wall and will just be taking the dresser/shelf, desk, bed, and the box by the door seeing as it’s full of my closets clothes.

This is my setup for the night. I really need to disperse the pillows before I sleep, but it is what it is right now.

Boxes and boxes of shit. At least all my shit is here now though—though the wood there to the right will be out of the room by tomorrow night and then I can get to deep cleaning the space of dust, critters, and whatever else may still remain from the prior inhabitants.

Old room + New room update:

Wiped down the walls and got a bit of my childhood artwork off. Hooray.

That is my sibling. We put a couch there!

I found pillows and the pin board in the closet full of my shit. Surprise, I also went above and beyond and sorted through everything inside just so I could grab a large bin that I can put my seasonal blankets and bedding it for later.

We made spaghetti. I like the sauce. It’s a 25/30 in total. Added beef. Good night. Is tired.
