It feels like he deserves to be on that list but I’ve watched too many raps games to be able to factor out my own bias.
This is the new issue of The Nashwaak Review, a literary journal of @stthomasu.bsky.social St. Thomas University. It contains poetry by George Elliott Clarke, a wonderful short story by Elaine McCluskey, and "Long Leash" by me, which is a story of infidelity, loyalty and sacrifice, as told by a dog.
This is bad news. Also i think every article that mentions our $1.2 B deficit should also note that it was created by the current government. And they just keep digging. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

In my role at @ecologyaction.bsky.social, I co-wrote a fun children's book about a plucky little BC electric school bus who travels the country, making friends along the way, to make a case for her kind in Nova Scotia. Come join us at the Halifax Central Library, May 23, 1-3, for the launch!

End of America, end of everything.
"20 yrs ago the world took a year to add 1 gigawatt of solar.
Now it takes just half a day.
Solar costs have fallen by around 90% over past decade, & as costs fall, installations accelerate.
Nowhere is this clearer than in China 🇨🇳. It now accounts for well over half of global solar installations"
Same shit different century

“Every time i switched on the radio there was somebody else singing about the two of us.” @billybragg.bsky.social with a great description of falling in love
He has had quite the recent tour.
Living life of course also makes it hard to find time to write. AI solves that problem by doing it in an instant. But, like a tv dinner, what's the value of that really?
I quite like the answer I gave to

This is my favorite climate change chart. Japanese monks, aristocrats, and emperors kept meticulous records of cherry blossom festivals for 1,200 years and accidentally built the world's longest climate dataset.

PEI is rocking electric school buses pretty hard. Nova Scotia scores a 0. Yes, that's ZERO points. Another failed report card. greencommunitiescanada.org/wp-content/u...

You know how they say the right will destroy the world while the left argues over which sandwiches to order? Certain Western NDP leaders just manifested that shit and demonstrated fear of having a rash progressive leader.
On this day in 1982, Donald Marshall Junior was finally released from prison for a crime he never committed.
Below is an edited version from "Justice Denied: The Law versus Donald Marshall" by Michael Harris at page 350, when Junior was finally released:
