I’m off today and the wife has to work. What shall I do with my time. I have a few chores to do, clean the pool, water the plants, spray weeds, a little cleaning up around the house, all in all about 1 1/2 hours worth.

Good morning my Friends, I have today off so I’m going to go do some fishing. I’ve been a bit down lately so maybe lake time will help. I know a trout or two tugging on my line won’t hurt. I’ve come to realize my depression has been worse lately because I’m not getting joy from the little things. 😞😕
Ribs are almost done, potatoes are cooking on the Traeger with the ribs. Corn on the cob will be on in a few. Today has been nice. I had the whole day to myself! Did the cooking, walked the dog, did a few small chores. Dinner is almost done and the wife should be home in a half hour or so. 🍖🌽🥔
As we near the end of our democratic experiment we see how such things will happen. Good morning Friends, yesterday we went to a spring training game at Peoria Stadium. We watched our favorite team, the San Diego Padres beat the Los Angeles Angels. It was absolutely beautiful weather & we were able to watch all the stars for the first 5 innings! I’m hoping to catch a few more!
I have been buying storage units at auction for a few years now. I’ve bought over 100! Some winners, some losers but I always learn about the stuff in there! I think the thrill of the hunt is what keeps me going but the knowledge gained by researching about the items I find is just as valuable. 👍🏻😁

I just got to work and realized I don’t want to be here today! One of my long time coworkers is retiring and I kind of wish it was me. I very happy for her! I have another 3-5 years to go.
