This team has basically never played without Havertz or Jesus upfront. They’re going to learn on the job. Important to keep the back door closed while we do. It was always going to be ropey, but 1-0 will do. That’s the reality of the next few weeks.
Ok, I get that it is a frustrating and boring watch but CONTEXT, people! Let’s transmit the energy we want the team to embody - positive, determined and patient! We have to accept that these next weeks may not be inspiring but there is glory in grinding it out.

I really appreciated this. I feel so protective of our players, our coach and our club and will never understand "fans" who feel it is their right to abuse them. No one could question their commitment after watching them play under so many challenging circumstances this past weekend.
