As a Kentuckian, I will never get over the evil that is Mitch McConnell. He’s been in office since before I lived here and has always actively worked against the interest of his constituents. People from other states ask me why he keeps getting elected. I don’t have a good answer.

One of my professors spent his sabbatical in SF reading and discussing literature with dying aids patients. They read The Death of Ivan Ilyich and discussed how he faced his death. I took a class from him later where he taught about it.

I was just thinking about how history textbooks were evil. And how lucky my kids are to have been taught better.
