I think humour & more precisely ridicule is a hugely underestimated weapon against the far right.
We mustn’t lose this ability as it’s also part of our humanity! It is who we are as progressives who believe in liberal democracy.
The far right are ridiculous. We should mock them at every turn.

The Fraud's Prayer:
Our Father, who art in the White House,
hallowed be thy combover;
thy blingdom come;
thy will be dumb;
In Washington as you are in Florida.
Give us this day our daily round of golf.
And forgive us our insider trading,
as we refuse to forgive those who investigate against us...
Can someone provide the relevant iplayer link please so it can be verified (and then complained about). 🙏
Why is the BBC giving
ReformUK Ltd so much covert publicity.
I'm sick of seeing Farage' slimy mug for my licence fee.

Think we need to be complaining about this en masse!!!
I checked this too.
*20 seconds* of Reform logo display.
*No other* party logo displayed.
In local election purdah.
This is not normal. At all.
Wtaf @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social ?!!!
Asra is a very impressive young woman with a powerful story to tell. I am a trustee of the charity featured in her film, founded to honour the memory of my friend Andy by helping people with no connections or privilege get a break in the media. Do watch it if you can. youtu.be/Stlz6CEXRGA?...
Chart showing estimated fall in GDP per person resulting from Brexit (based on different specifications in a synthetic control model): UK, Q1-2026 to Q2-2025
Brexit has likely done more economic damage than feared.
Recent evidence suggests the economic cost of Brexit may be approaching twice the 4% impact assumed by the OBR.
The Chancellor has signalled a shift in approach to EU trade, but the effect will depend on how far the govt goes on alignement.
The public deserves to know exactly what happened when Mandelson was appointed as US Ambassador despite failing the required security vetting. Please sign our letter.

C’mon everyone let’s get this reposted and circulated as much as possible. Farage is the ultimate grifter.
Who is he really working for?
It certainly isn’t the good people of Clacton!!!!
With Farage making a shed load of money from bitcoin and an assortment of weird companies, we’ve launched a map and live tracker of his income 👇🏻👇🏻
More than half of Britons support rejoining EU 10 years on from Brexit vote.
Brexit was secured with lies. It hasn't delivered any of the claimed economic benefits.
Post Trump world will be more polarized.
Nobody under the age of 28 had a say on Brexit.
Need another referendum.
I’ve complained to them recently. Expecting the usual bland denial
Grifters! Every single one of them
It’s a mark of how completely normalised the corruption & depravity have become that we barely bat an eyelid at the thought of two *property developers*, one Trump’s nepo baby son-in-law, being sent to represent the USA in peace negotiations with Iran. Sometimes it all hits you afresh.

Hungary 😉 Exactly 👍
Critical thinking rather than intelligence? No Fox News here either …lots of factors I’m sure but one thing I do know is the far right parties across Europe need to be nailed down on this! Trump is toxic here!!!! He supports them and they cower and hang on his every word!
Wow! Love Europe 😍
What should have happened: the REIT paid no tax but the Tice companies holding shares in the REIT paid £98k tax on the dividends they received. What actually happened: none of the companies paid any tax.
Our new report: Richard Tice signed accounts wrongly claiming £98,000 of tax exemptions
A 🧵 with the evidence:
I've just signed "Establish a public inquiry into foreign interference" - Will you support the campaign too? actionstorm.org/petitions/fo... @OpenBritainHQ
BBC editorial staff should re-read their immigration review
The corporation struggles to cover well stuff that is not politically contested or controversial
It should cover controversial issues but it risks reinforcing major public misperceptions on key issues

The significant year on year fall on boat arrivals is broadly unreported by BBC or other media. It has less to do with imminent government changes currently going through than a fall in "push factors" that is Europe-wide
BBC today correct Nigel Farage's false claim to Nick Robinson on Political Thinking (13th February 2026) that net migration was only down due to an "exodus" of people leaving the UK since 90% of net migration fall was a fall in immigration. After my 3rd complaint!

Our new report shows: The majority of Brits want to rejoin the EU.
🇪🇺 And: EU membership delivers the most growth.
