sketching my space pirate monke baby Rye, and also space catgirl pizza entrepurrneur Anne Chovy. Very, very happy with how these are going
Yeah that's it exactly π€£ like do I want to draw or do I want to eat dinner tonight (cook and clean). Trying to be more ok with unfinished things, I used to be that person the moment I stopped working on a picture I would never go back to it, so I put a lot of pressure on myself to finish 1 sitting.
I've been enjoying making small sketches again of characters for personal content and DnD. I've unfortunately hit that stage where I have to choose between drawing and household necessities like "taking care of myself". I kept thinking I couldn't create, but doing little bits here and there is good

More culinary competition dreams, we weren't allowed to use eggs so I said I would make pad kra pao, but I ended up doing some type of orange colour sauce and cooking chicken in it to serve over a saffron rice, so absolutely nothing like pad kra pao. It looked really good though
It's been a few years by now so sadly I do not recall the exact numbers, but iirc yu-gi-oh! Was the big one - partly because not only do they use the art exclusively, they also pay to not have the artist credited. You may think "that sucks" but pay allegedly is absolutely massive as a result
I took an illustration course under an MTG artist who gave us a light breakdown, MTG pays "ok", but they also allow you to sell prints of your work generally. If they can't allow you to, i.e. they're running a secret lair where the source says 'no', then they pay higher for exclusivity.

Sat down at my computer to look something up, but I forgot I'd shut it down before bed so in the 10 seconds it took to turn on I immediately forgot what I was doing here
Cover art for Forest of the Pygmies, part of the Memories of the Eagle and the Jaguar series by Isabel Allende, featuring a crocodile and a leopard twisting around each other with water splashing around them
Here's the final piece of cover art I made for the new edition of the Memories of the Eagle and the Jaguar Series by Isabel Allende. This is for the third and final book, Forest of the Pygmies!
Many thanks to AD Lucia Baez
Literally glowing, so beautiful. Incredible work!!
So incredibly enamored with a recent ttrpg setting. Did a session 0 last week to get rid of the nerves, and this week starting the game went so smooth. I'm so lucky to still have such cool people in my life, and I kind of want to see if I can make a book about it. That's ambitious but I'm excited.
This was the piece that I found you through! Very thankful for that π
Nothing gets me crying more than cooking shows. Just finished the final episode of culinary class wars season 2, what a theme to cap off a competition.
just want you to know that this is very close to the colour we used for our guest bedroom and downstairs bathroom when we redecorated the house last year, so I think it's lovely π₯°
Happy New Year!!! ππ₯ππ
Start the year right and witness Bane's and my beautiful boysπ₯°

Pssst, it would mean the _world_ if you took a moment to spread the word about The Art of Comics Podcast.
It's our little love project and we put so much time and energy into it <3 Thank you for considering and perhaps re-sharing.

I'm so sorry dude, I just found your accounts after they DM'd me and I was like, there's no way this guy is reaching out after we were in a single comic tournament in 2016 lmao. If possible I hope you can recover it!
Btw I'm determined to do another (free!) #drawathon day on Friday (12/26), noon PST!
I want to do a bigger event but this is what I'm sure I can do for now.
Details later, but you can already put in your requests at the link :3
(I need to just make a page on my site for itβ¦)

That sounds so horrible I ugly laughed LMAO
I tried so many things to try and make a water weird - tie-dye paper towel, glue and plastic wrap, but the felt approach was the only one that was light enough to 'float' on the twisted pipe cleaner
I'm so excited to plan more DnD stuff. I'm honestly still rising the high of players really enjoying themselves, and wow getting to play in-person after so many years was such a damn treat. I made a bunch of little things, trying to get into some mini making, and u think I found a new hobby!
I got these details wrong it was 80/20 in season 1, and 80/18 in season 2 as I'm just watching now lol. But still very much recommend! It's so interesting to see how they approach challenges and they all really go all out
If y'all like cooking shows, I very much recommend Culinary Class Wars, which just dropped its second season. Despite the name it is a real world cooking competition in Korea featuring 50 'renowned' chefs and 50 'local/unknown' chefs. It's like real like Shokugeki no Soma in the best way
If you think the 'idea machine' is running out of juice I think you are probably not seeing that there is a full ass security checkpoint that got installed to control who gets to use it. Indie creators continue to make cool shit regardless
