Phishing email about a suspicious iPhone purchase sent through a malicious PowerAutomate approval flow.
Oh goody, Power Automate Approval Flow used as phishing platform. #Microsoft #phishing
About 45% of pet ownership is walking by them and badly singing little songs that integrate their names. If you can’t do this, then I’m sorry, you are not ready for the responsibilities of owning a pet.
Earthset from Artemis II. I am overcome.
And Microsoft putting the Share screen button next to the Leave button has certainly made meetings more interesting! 🤨
I don’t know who at Apple thought but the Delete Event button at the bottom of the screen where you need to swip up to exit, but my 80 year old mom keeps deleting appointments from her calendar because of that UI choice. Can we at least get an undo option on deletes in shared calendars?
look at me confronted with an argument that changed my mind about something
When I lived in Porland, OR, famous for not adding fluoride to their water, I constantly had cavities. As soon as I moved away I have never had another cavity. Correlation? You bet! But an awfully strong one.
Trying to have an 80 year old navigate a smart TV shows you all that’s wrong with UX and modern software design. I had to enable a passcode for purchases because they kept unintentionally purchasing subscriptions (which frustrated them). Of course the companies don’t care.
Your Conditional Access policies probably have gaps you don't know about
I talked to Emilien Socchi about how he built an engine that tests 250 MILLION sign-in combos in <20 minutes.

According to the IEA, we mine ~240,000 tons of #lithium every year. 70% goes into batteries, 70% of which are for #EVs.
Over the course of the same year we mine 4 billion tons of #oil, 8 billion tons of coal, 3 billion tons of gas.
And then we burn ~90% of it. Inefficiently.
Think about that
Apple iOS calendar UX is so horrible. Why would you put “Delete Event” at the very bottom right where you need to swipe up to exit the app, especially with no confirmation!?!
My elderly mom keeps deleting doctors appointments from her calendar 🤬
I phase it as “I front loaded my maintenance”. Pay a little more upfront and have five years (so far) with one set of new tires, wiper blade and fluid changes, and air cabin filters. Not even new brakes thanks to regenerative braking! Had the Hyundai battery issues (Kona) but that was covered.
Microsoft just announced official support to store device bound Passkeys for Entra ID in the Windows Hello container. No app, no external hardware key but built in support. Sadly no attestation while in preview.

Darren "Doc" Robinson did us all an awesome favour and created an Entra News MCP server.
I asked: What's the latest on CA and got this 👇

If by “choosing his words carefully”, they mean he didn’t spout nonsensical gibberish like someone else I can think of, then yes. Yes he did. And so do most of us.
I like daylight savings overall, but lord, why can’t we spring forward Friday night to give us the full weekend to adapt?!?
When $=“free speech”, those with the most money are going to get the most speech.
Graphic. Background is photo of hands covered in colorful paints. Text reads, “HAPPY HOLI!” Logo of Rep. McClellan is present.
Wishing everyone a joyful and vibrant Holi! May the Festival of Colors remind us of the light, hope and goodness that live within our communities.
I love the auto regen in the Kona. I can set it on light regen braking for most coasting but it will increase regen to slow me down if cars are stopped ahead. I’ve always assumed slight “gas” pedal pressure turns off regen but isn’t actually sending energy to the motor. Maybe I’m wrong though.
This is an end run around progressive taxation. When it comes from a paycheck we can easily create lower taxes for those who make less money. With a consumption tax, poorer people will pay a higher percent of their income in taxes. The rich who are stockpiling excess income will pay no taxes on it.
That will change over time.
No thanks! I don’t ever want to go back to a car with an ICE in it. I’m so happy to have had (almost) zero regular maintenance on my EV.
“News” article about Richmond’s use of Flock cameras.

I wonder who bought ads in the form of news articles? 🤔
Love the “tax avoidance” subheading which sets up the old “we really need lower taxes for the rich so they’ll stop avoiding taxes” argument.
What are preferred methods to lock someone out of a remote Intune managed computer? Any that work well in a hybrid configuration?
Our best solution to date is a push of a “deny local login” policy in advance and a forced reboot.

easy slogan for the next democratic presidential candidate is “i will reform the corrupt supreme court and repeal citizens united”
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like #Microsoft creates a service with minimal controls, makes it available to everyone in a tenant by default and then comes around after things are a mess to sell you a governance solution…which just happens to be Premium plan pricing?
All the “libertarians” I know voted for Trump. That’s a weird way to warn us.
