mm usually. This one I was just on had fare officers checking everyone though. Handing out fines and such. Pretty ridiculous.
apparently translink cops have a whole interrogation routine for the kids that didn't pay a 50 cent fare now. that cannot be worthwhile
thank you for your chud son @piers.zip
you're welcome lmfao
you're right actually

I wanted a silly prize to hand out at conventions and such but evidently he needs a revision first lol
Corrin, of Freeline fame, has been chibified. poorly.
ohh my stupid chud son what have I done to you...
I was a big-time friendslop defender but guys I think we need to wrap it up this is too many
joy.exe
Also my request would be a fan shape! for light coming from ventilation ducts and the like. Definitely needed this more than once.
You're such a blessing! omg. So many times I've gone to set up scene lights and been completely dumbfounded by the shortage of light cookies on the internet.
Someday the guy who vibecodes the AWS backend will break everything, and will not be able to vibecode his way out because all of the AI tools will be down.
I think that's how the internet ends.
I find Freeline's progress as a project really interesting because I remember being really proud of pretty much every iteration. Like it's really only as good as it is because I procrastinated until I was good at making it.
oh that's so gorgeous! yeah I am such a big fan of buildings incorporating plants, I just have to be a little bit restrained or I might accidentally make a city that looks nice to live in lol
I kinda forgive people for remembering it as being really shiny though given that iirc a lot of the really iconic moments/areas actually just are
I really just love the way Mirror's Edge lets the sky, fog, and light take control of a scene, and I suppose I've been trying to bring in more dynamic lighting interactions like that.
I think that's true. I do hate the shiny plastic look Catalyst went for, it felt like a complete misinterpretation of the style. Mirror's Edge is still quite a shiny game though, it just uses reflectivity with a lot more intention.
really really happy with how this is looking
mmm.. perhaps..
hahaha it's still an active obsession for me I guess
mm. they are nice windows.
adding shiny reflections to everything because lowkey I just want to make mirror's edge but I'll tell everybody I'm pushing the boundaries of cel shading
im realising that large-scale navigable cities are like the worst case scenario for optimisation in an indie game ;-;
somehow made an "optimisation" that doubles the framerate on my PC and makes it considerably worse on my steam deck. this is the most "works on my machine" moment maybe ever
right?? T_T
so many things happen that are just... forgotten about... by the end of the movie. I don't even know how they managed it ;-;
oh this is just some shitty company's bid to claim the word "indie" huh? lol what a joke.
