Yep. It really is that pretty. I live in W WA and we have a pretty coastline, but I swear Oregon coast is the prettiest of any. I used to go to Cannon beach as a kid, and my kid and grandkid went about a week ago. This was a painting I did (not from my photo though.)
Yep, my daughter had to go nearly to Graham to find a house she could afford, and commute takes 2 hours via car or transit. But on transit feels very unsafe to her, even though it’s paid for by her company.
Some of the hills are super steep. Not sure an electric bike could make it up. Hard to say until you try it I guess. Traffic would be what would stop me.

When my husband and I had our business I couldn’t believe how many young people would show up dressed in jeans and sloppy for interviews. It was a professional office. I wouldn’t interview them, I’d just stop it as soon as I saw it and told them why.

This is a Mazatlan beach & pics from a little town north of Maz called El Quelite. It has the cutest restaurant and just a beautiful town full of color. Many homes have cactus growing on their roofs.

There was a news story recently on Seattle local station that said WA scientists are a lot of bees lately that haven’t been seen in decades and even a couple they thought extinct. Maybe climate changes, but they don’t know why yet.

We saw these beauties up in the Canadian Broughton Islands. They come in for a cod run that get thrown around by really strong currents. The smaller fish die as they are brought up rapidly in the currents and whirlpools. There had to be at least 60 Eagles. It was a thrill to say the least.

We wore ours today in Auburn Washington. Organizers said there were 1500 people a record for us. All peaceful, just a couple dirty looks from some cares.

Diesel is at $6.34 at my local Costco in Puyallup WA this morning. Marina’s are up to $7.00 in places.

Fuck Cancer is right! So sorry to hear this. Too many good people are taken by cancer. It’s changed my life too as well as my daughter’s. I hope the Dr’s or Hospice are able to keep him out of pain.
