To be clear, I am not making any moral judgments on this war (which I find baseless, amoral murder without the backing of the people) or any war the US has been involved in. I am just saying that our logistical abilities were unparalleled since WWII

I feel bad as hell for the sailors. Hopefully, we won't need to find out whether the failure in logistics goes both ways (projecting forward or recovering).
Our logistics and operational capabilities were what made a difference in our war-making abilities. I would argue that without our logistical capabilities, we can neither supply forward nor amazingly save people that would have died from injuries on the battlefield in Vietnam.
I love Massive Attack, great video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-57...
Movie posters for The Big Lebowski, Five Nights at Freddy's, Glory, and Caddyshack
FNAF was a bit of a stinker to me but it wasn't wretched. The rest are movies I like but they are mid to good, nothing amazing. I like Glory, but some people think there should have been even more focus on Denzel Washington's character or his POV. #LetterboxdFriday #lastfourwatched #FilmSky
Saving this for later, this is restoring faith in humanity level of neat.

I got to see Metropolis live at the Babylon theater with an orchestra and while I was entertained throughout I really didn't like the message.
Movie posters for Wag the Dog, Hard to Die, Dracula (1931) and Metropolis
I've skipped #LetterboxdFriday #lastfourwatched #FilmSky posts for over a month because I've had a lot of changes in my living situation. Not that anyone is waiting to see what I've been watching but still, might be a person or two. Anyways, Wag the Dog is pretty good.
boo
If you are thinking to yourself, this has to be BS. It's evidently not.

I think it's funny when a random dude wants to go on record saying, "The pope is wrong, Jesus is into war." Ryan Helfenbein, www.linkedin.com/in/ryan-helf.... Jesus said their were really two commandments, and I guess killing folks is like loving your neighbor.
When I was stationed in Germany I got woke up sleeping on trains coming back from the club all the time. There is a very strong smelling man literally sleeping on the S41 like it's his apartment.
A year ago someone filed a tax return in my name which caused the irs to freeze the account and investigate. The turn around time on the investigation was 1.5 years.
Bottle of some drink named club-mate zero
I'm in Berlin and everything is different. Sometimes that's delightful but this is something I am having trouble identifying as drink

Movie posters for - Spellbinder, An Officer and a Gentleman, Final Destination 3, The Girl Next Door
I can't say anything jumped out at me. Though I'm neither an officer nor a gentleman, I do like the movie and relate to the experience they go through. I wish the Gere wasn't such an absolute dick. The Girl Next Door was a feel really bad movie. #LetterboxdFriday #lastfourwatched #FilmSky

Movie Posters for Final Destination 2, Chloe, Black Candles and C.H.U.D.
I guess this week was just trashy cinema week. Except Final Destination 2, that's decent I just think the Rube Goldberg deaths sometimes are a bit too much. If you are looking for some throwback mid-life smut I would recommend Chloe, it wasn't bad. #LetterboxdFriday #lastfourwatched #FilmSky
I read the director's cut is the same. This is what my version ends on. I remember seeing the original before and I agree with most internet curmudgeons that ending bleak is the way to go.
I think I have the final cut, but I can't tell the difference between directors cut and final cut. But the version I have is really nicely restored, and doesn't have Ford's voice over and these little touches elevate it
It has a lot of trippy sequences in it. I think it has some 70s paranoia in there too.
Movie Posters for - Hell High, Blade Runner, Logan's Run, and Creeper
I'm going to just assume you've seen Blade Runner and not have to pick it as the recommend. So that basically leaves Logan's Run, which I've seen a gajillion times thanks to it being on every Saturday from when I was 8-12 and there were four channels #LetterboxdFriday #lastfourwatched #FilmSky

They will show it non-stop even though not one person on the team or the staff was there. So it's not like they've got some trauma to resolve. I have trauma. I was at that game on my birthday, and the quickness the Pats fans went from praying to yelling at me was a marvel.
I do love that everyone who interviews Sam Darnold is like “Sam, hey, congrats on all of your success. You sucked shit before. What do you think about that?”
