20 years ago I decided never to visit/transit the US again. My wife & I & our 2 children got detained in a urine-smelling room for no stated reason for over an hour and nearly missed our connection. Meanwhile "agents" referred to other passengers in racist slurs. An Iranian woman was a "raghead".
