Realized that you can only do next fest once, and I decided this 2 hours before the press release, so kinda miracle save.

Unfortunately I did publish my game page before it was absolutely ready, so I feel like I crippled that algorithmic boost. If anyone knows a steam capsule artist that would fit my game's artstyle (90s/00s anime, zatch bell style children, go nagai type hair, fantasy/sci fi RPG) let me know.

BUT - because I tricked myself into having a deadline with *significant* consequences, I was able to get a bunch of work done, realize the faults in my demo, and do a dry run of what it'd look like to prepare for next fest.

What happened was around October I said "I'm going to do next fest" because I'm able to make significantly more progress if I have a strict deadline. I didn't realize that you can only do next fest once. The reality is that my game wont be out, and there's no reason to do next fest at this point.
