Extreme wealth is a unhealthy thing, a mental disorder similar to hoarding.

The social safety net should be extended yo everyone from the top to the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder. they should be cured of this unfortunate affliction until they are merely very wealthy.

It’s for their own good.

People are weird

As you correctly observed

Some things don’t have to make sense, consider it a soft cry for understanding in a cold uncaring universe.

The dude is 6’7” tall, how much of what he does is technique and how much is it being big enough to manhandle the other guy.

I actually believe he earned his black belt but in an actual fight the belt just keeps your pants up.

It was awesome, I suspect it got too big too fast and the company behind it take 2? Didn’t have the resources to keep it going.

Loved that in the first game one of my most powerful characters was a giant mosquito. and that a giant ogre would app and kick your butt for excessive jaywalking.

Reboot?

Is that one of those deep sea manganese nodules?

The ones that should remain at the bottom of the ocean because they are natural catalysts?

There was an awesome story about an italian artist who was carving marble statues and dropping them on eel grass beds off the coast of italy to jam up illegal trawler nets. We need more of this kind of thing

They champion the unborn and the dead. Two groups that never ever ask for anything of them.

Living people, children, young mothers anyone sick or needy well they can bootstrap their way through with no help from society. Might limit tax cuts to the wealthy.

yes, all of the ways, they get a little thrill out of it.

Why anyone thinks this kind of attitude is desirable in leadership is a mystery.

Maybe we are at a point where attacking other countries just does make sense anymore and we can improve our diplomacy technology to meet the challenges of today’s world?

Please use this when campaigning against anyone who pretends to “support the troops“ when the best support would be getting them home.

well when that happened I was snorkeling at a marine reserve in Kona (my home town) so free diving, i dove down to the bottom about 20 feet to see if I could and while successful seeing the eel gave me a strong incentive to get back to the surface.
