Absolutely incredible.

It’s a tourist spot but for a reason: the Field Museum is awesome. Right next to Grant Park and Lake Michigan. I also enjoyed the river architecture tour last time I was there. Have fun!

Tax the rich & help working families New York City is home to some of the world’s wealthiest individuals in the world and dozens of Fortune 500 companies. At the same time, more than 100,000 New Yorkers sleep in city-run shelters and mor...

We can pass big, bold programs like universal childcare that transform the lives of working New York families—but only if Gov. Hochul raises taxes on the wealthiest corporations to fund them.

All NY-7 filings are public and we outraised the field with $751,680.

But our unitemized total (donations of less than $200) tells the real story.

Us: $299k
Reynoso: $34k
Won: $24k

We had 11,200 unique donors as of the 4/1 filing — and have added 3,400 new ones since. 🤯

There are Nine Kinds of Great Organizers. You Don’t Have to Be Them All. Organizers often feel like they have to be a master of all trades. Stephen Smith of the Rural Defenders Union uses the Enneagram to propose nine different approaches to being a good organizer.

"The organizer’s calling is not to do everything ourselves; it is to find everyone we need." convergencemag.com/articles/nin... - An organizer Enneagram - I fit a couple of these.

"They got money for wars, but can’t feed the poor.”

@repbowman.bsky.social was a relentless champion for peace, justice and the working class in Congress — and has remained so outside. I am truly grateful for his support.

Filed my taxes today and I really want @claireforny.bsky.social + @darializaforny.bsky.social to join @aoc.bsky.social in Congress — to advocate for my tax dollars to go towards things like healthcare, education, and climate infrastructure, not to benefit oligarchs and fighting abroad.

Darializa was just arrested along with 100 others.

We are sick and tired of our government telling us that we don't have money to feed and house our children, while spending billions to drop bombs on children halfway around the world.

We must have politics that invest in life!

I was elected as a Democratic Socialist and I will govern as a Democratic Socialist. YouTube video by NYC Mayor's Office

Together, we are telling a new story of our city. New York belongs to all who live in it, not just a privileged few.

And if we succeed here, surely it can be done elsewhere.

clairevaldezforcongress.com/issues/memo/... I think this foreign policy platform is now the standard by which all Congressional candidates’ campaigns / offices should be measured against. Tremendous. Very proud to know and support @claireforny.bsky.social and her team.

For decades, we've been sold the lie that empire advances freedom and keeps us safe. Instead, it's led to violence, instability and a ruling class that reaps the profits but never pays the bill.

Today we're releasing our vision for a different foreign policy: clairevaldezforcongress.com/nowar

Friends, the social pressure not to mask is real, and it is strong. I truly get it. But we must overcome that pressure to keep one another safe, for Long Covid is also real and strong. The emergence of a new variant will likely add to the potential complications that can arise. So mask up, friends 😷

Trump must be removed from office.

This is genocidal language.

Every single person with any amount of power in this country MUST act now to prevent whatever crime against humanity Donald Trump is planning.

We can't pretend we didn't know.

ICE is a rogue agency with no regards for the rule of law or public safety. They enter our homes, schools, and hospitals to separate families and detain innocent people. Colluding with ICE means colluding with Trump’s authoritarianism.

We must pass New York For All.

Three things made me a democratic socialist: low-wage jobs, the labor movement, and the presidential campaigns of Bernie Sanders.

His political revolution changed my life — and showed millions of Americans what's possible when working people organize. I am so grateful for his support.
