twitter version 9.6 uses just 991kb of space on my phone, but the lastest version of "X" uses over 400mb, genuinely insane all that extra space taken up for a mecha hitler chatbot

they literally get double pay for flipping a switch in the locomotive to switch it from diesel to electric, its an outdated item from when they were two completely different operations that required a lot of different training, but now they dont and its stupid to pay people this way
in washington all our inititatives are anti-good things because the first person to really use them was tim eyman, who is an insane anti-good tax person
it would be either $18, on a trip starting on metro, using a kitsap fast ferry, and ending on kitsap, since fast ferries dont do free transfers
orca tvms have sold day passes since at least december, i dont even have the app and its pretty much all i use
never mind straight up get anyone who knows what they're doing in there
i 💚🩵💙💜❤️ king county metro transit
this cost informed a decision to switch future fleet purchases to diesels instead of hybrids (bebs arent considered good enough for more purchases until 2030)
for regular diesel, and R99 is ~$1 extra per gallon
yes its bad. my agency was projecting for R99 biodiesel to stay at $3.99/gallon, i've seen fairly regular $6.50 prices
2 lines have been struggling with proper destinations since they started crossing the lake
what approach is it if i just invest in high-yield savings accounts whenever my credit union offers them to me?
no. the orion VI was
they're calling gavin newsom the polititican with the worst political instincts of all time
if they copy kcm diesel operations long layovers (20+ minutes) are already normal so it wont affect too much operations wise, but it is incredibly funny how stupid this bus will be
also very funnily they'll get enviro500 bebs, a 45ft double-decker bus with such a heavy battery it exceeds normal axle weight limits, and it will still have such bad range that they can only make like three trips before using all their capacity, meaning they'll spend every layover charging
somehow sound transit managed to purchase byds in 2024 and will get K11M prototypes this year and full delivery next year
interesting, in america our beb options suck because new flyer 100% expects you to fast-charge multiple times a day, especially the XE60s, which max out at under 200mi range w/o hvac. the gillig beb is very good though and very popular for a reason
we only have one in-route charger and its a plug-in so bebs can technically get recharged but its just easier to take them out of service like an hour earlier most of the time, we have the diesel/hybrid capacity to cover
how large are the batteries in the buses? my local agency can get around 12 hours of urban trips (on a regularly scheduled diesel block) most days from our 588kWh 40ft/12m buses. our older bebs are much better for shuttles though they typically need to go out by mid-afternoon
they bought high-floor lrvs in 2019 (they have only low platforms) and they only have a single yard for this huge system so maintenance suffers because they only have like two hours a night with no trains running
my school is somehow so randomly evil for being a regional state school
but you had a choice we didnt when we built link but you already had subways and you could have built line 5 as such
yes we suffer with capacity so much in seattle and we have a mostly grade-seperated system and huge trains. party low floor doesnt work too much space is unusable
you've been able to track king county metro buses in real time (including features like being notified when you need to leave to make your bus) since before we invaded iraq
the only thing theh improve is the camera, sk the camera should be better and not have any issues, but they cant manage that i have to manually adjust my camera more than i would an actual digital camera!!!!sometimes the autofocus just breaks for no reason and the whole thing is sttupidly blirry why
new phones suck so much and are just such worse quality
fun fact these open-top buses are the only right-hand drive AD400s built, alexander dennis has only offered the enviro500 in RHD for regular transit use
yes there are some things correct on it, but its generally terrible and looks like its from 2010 and hasnt been updated, which if it was made by who i think made it, is probably true
what isnt wrong is the better question
