This is our community's letter!! It was written by Josie Morway, a local artist and parent. After we started asking questions, the district slowed way down and starting holding forums, creating workgroups, and taking student privacy more seriously. Talk to us if you want to do the same!

Pleased to provide lunch today to our DPW who are going on 3 weeks picking up the slack during Republic’s inexcusable strike resulting from their refusal to pay fair wages and benefits or negotiate in good faith. Our Teamsters stand with their Teamsters in Malden. No scabs here 💪
Today I decided to explore using Google NotebookLM to create an audio overview of the 2026 #Malden budget, and honestly, it’s darn good! Even explains Prop 2 1/2 & school funding formulas. Listen in, it’s just over 15 mins long, and tell me what you think :)

Extremely successful #srts “Walk,Bike & Roll Day” ~citywide~ in Malden today! All kids deserve safe routes to school! #malden
Looks like the T isn’t active here yet so copying in @mbta-alerts.bsky.social. Constituents tell me the train station hasn’t been plowed or shoveled out in ANY of the recent snow storms. This is insanity!
Good morning @mbta.com I am hoping we in Malden can get some help. None of your sidewalks at Oak Grove have been shoveled & pedestrians are walking in Washington & Winter streets with cars to access the station. The storm ended two days ago. It’s all ice now. You own the entire perimeter. Pls help!
Very sorry to see this news when I woke up today. I was fortunate to hear him speak at a work event ten years ago, sharing here for some throwback memories! youtu.be/4uzwQlVzLrA?...
The great thing about a conference like #Connect351 is that you feel refreshed and recommitted to the work after attending. You should always feel like you’re with “your people” at something like that! Thank you to the MMA!
🎶 🎸 We are back for a FOURTH year!! Come jam with us and meet your neighbors around #Malden for community, music & fun 🤩
📺 Did you know? All #Malden City Council meetings stream *LIVE* weekly on UMA's YouTube Channel. It's easy to tune in & stay up to date on your city government. And new this year, all committee meetings will also be available for viewing. More info coming soon! bit.ly/2025MaldenCouncilStream
🌡️ Just a quick nerd update to let you know that our new heat pumps are keeping up great in this weather. Seriously, the radiators and boiler are gone, and we are roasty toasty even in single digits and strong wind. 💨 Can’t say the same for the Malden Center MBTA station! 🥶

Surely this must leave Boston as one of the only remaining places broker fees exist
Five days left to comment on the NHTSA proposal for testing of vehicles for safety for pedestrians (I'd comment, and did, that we should include cyclists in these tests)
While these may not survive the next administration, I think it's still worth commenting in favor of safer vehicles:
📝Welcome back #Malden public schools!! 🍎Cheers to a happy, safe, and healthy year full of learning & friendship!🍏
Thanks @adamchapdelaine.bsky.social for the invite! So far I'm loving it here.
Hi 👋 I'm new here! You can expect a lot of #MApoli content, local guv news, #MaldenMA updates and heavy discussion of #transportation, #housing, #environmentaljustice and #artsandculture in the Greater Boston region, sprinkled with bits of family life & the latest from my campaign. Welcome!
