I had concerns the game would be… pandering to the wrong kind of people I guess is the only way I know how to say it?

I watched a video a couple of days ago where somebody repeatedly said other engines (including Godot for some reason?) should be scared of sandbox and I guess they were right but in only ways they never even considered.

I was excited to see more open source engines, what an absolute shame.

Any time people ask me about what geisha were or incorrectly suggest they were sex workers I correct them by saying they were feudal Japanese vtubers for small groups of business men and that was never meant to be a compliment

Basically they invented a yes man that isn’t yes manning them for money and that’s caused them to get high on their own supply

I think it’s actually even more pathetic than this

I think it’s that super rich tech people have spent their whole lives being ass kissed and boot licked and told they’re great by everyone that talking to an llm that kisses ass even harder makes them feel like it’s real for once even though it aint

Should I:

- paint cyn in a more painterly style sort of like the arcane characters I was doing?

- do my typical ink blot cel shaded style like my profile picture?

Nah I want my gaming to be even more clunky and confusing. My favourite games all have UI elements obscuring at least 2/5ths of the screen if not even more.

That said I understand I’m an outlier and respect the work UIX devs do

If I could have my way I’d get a keyboard with even more buttons on it. I want buttons for every common programming keyword and knobs and dials

This was super evident when I was in Japan because the streets were narrow with only occasional parking spaces and were often shared with pedestrian traffic and yet almost all parking spots I saw were free when I went driving in Hiroshima.
