I would say that Julia being underwhelming when you meet her is thematically relevant.

Strixhaven isn't the Plane, Strixhaven is the School, Arcavios is the plane's proper name. Also it is formed of two planes that collided and the Snarls are from where the leylines from those two planes cross, which is cooler lore than those crappy lands deserve.

The restriction of only creature spells hurts it too much, there are enough really good land cycles and 5 color lands without restrictions.
