Off the top of my head, nearest (free, public) toilet is Church Lane. I haven’t sampled it, but wouldn’t recommend flushing a tissue either anyway - only bog roll (plus shite/piss/boke/etc)!

There are closer toilets in nearby businesses, but that shouldn’t be the only reasonable option.

Definitely not usually there, this was early morning. I don’t think a used tissue is recyclable! There may be other methods used (street sweepers etc), and bins may be a security/street clutter issue.

Today’s wandering.

Noticed some real cheek on my daily walk today. Folks were out - small dog walkers, doddering elderly, sauntering gents. Part timers. I’ve been out every day, back when the streets were sodden and slick, the wind piercing and the sky as black as the nature of man (yesterday and every day until now).

Dare I say, first good drying day of the year? The 78th day of 2026?
