Dozens of AI disease-prediction models were trained on dubious data The models are designed to predict someone’s risk of diabetes or stroke. A few might already have been used on patients.

Ossoff: "How does American politics really work? It's coin operated. Money goes in, favors come out. It's been running on secret money, corporate money, billionaire money ... all of this gave rise to a depraved president who exploits this rot to empower and enrich himself"

Behold the rosy veincap! This species, which is considered inedible, is the only fungus in its taxon. It has a wide range & can be spotted worldwide, including in parts of N. America, Africa, Europe, & Asia. Have you ever seen one?

I was once a militant Jewish atheist.

Then I mellowed into ‘I don’t understand how intelligent people can believe any of this, but some do, so live and let live.’ Jewish atheist.

But now, seeing what the Trump Regime is doing I’m an ‘outraged on behalf of Christianity’ Jewish atheist.

Today is the 2 year anniversary of when I met the Ravens. They just checked me out from a distance then! Here is some of my fav footage: them courting, feeding each other, barrel rolling and some of their vocalisations. They are the most amazing birds and I am so lucky to have them!

As @goodlawproject.org have pointed out, among many others, Palantir is a company inextricably linked to the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, and the Labour government as a whole. When they come out with scary shit like this it is time to cut ties, fast.

Meet the capuchinbird (Perissocephalus tricolor), native to the northeastern part of South America.

They're a large passerine bird with a head that resembles that of a vulture, in spite of not being closely related.

But let's take a minute to talk about Capuchin friars...

An American doctor once said at a seminar that the difference between the US and UK attitudes to death is that in the US you fight with all possible resources to stay alive whereas in UK death is what happens at the end of your life.

Now realise same is true of retirement: see RBG, Biden, Trump.

Here’s the director of the NIH explicitly espousing populism over expertise as the means of determining priorities for federally science funding by leaning into the stupidest possible examples: ivermectin as cancer therapy .

For those keeping track at home. The Iranians have now blockaded the Strait of Hormuz in response to the US blockading it because the Iranians had blockaded it, in response to the US attacking Iran to ensure that the Strait which was fully open at the time wasn't blockaded.
