Those days suck, and the next day is hopefully better. I am glad you keep on when you have a day that feels like you don't want to. I am seeing this the next day, so i know you are ok, but I still wanted to give support!

PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
It's amazing how much rebuilding your space and rebuilding yourself intertwine. May you and space thrive, my friend.
I was preparing myself for this news when winter reached out to their new home with Badger's news. The silence had been feeling heavy.
I agree- may their next lives be illness-free, full of strength, and full of eagerly loving homes.
I am grateful that he got to have the time he had and have a human to bond to. That poor litter. I hope they get an even better chance next time around.
Exhaustion is funny. You pare back to the basics, and find just what the basics are to you.
Gotta eat, gotta feed the indoor & outdoor cats, gotta do the dishes, gotta do the offerings.
Gotta try to install a secure E2EE chat server? Wut? Gotta play A/V specialist? Ok, maybe signs of life return.
But know this. Your job doesn't care about your health and what they do it. Your immediate boss might a little, but the company doesn't. And I'm not even saying that bitterly. It's just a fact. They just don't.
Hi Y'all. I have been 'away'. Work went hard for several weeks. A project is over, culminated in an all-nighter this weekend to get it done. I'm on vacation this week to rest, and all I WANT to do is sleep. I'll try to be more active here, but if I am not, know that I will eventually have energy. /1
OW OW OW! May they heal and feel better quickly!
Still sad we couldn't get the girls in to sing that Mothra song.
WAHT??? I NEVRE MAKE TYOPS!
A wedding photo of a couple just after finishing vows. Heads are replaced with cartoonish caricatures. This is exactly what it looked like.
23 years ago today, this happened.
I love you, @winterlady1.bsky.social
Most just play records, but sometimes they dig deep. I remember one that popped up a few times calling itself "Artist Spotlight Radio" and they did one show that was all Ween and another that was all Deerhoof. All stuff you can get yourself, but interesting.
It's a pretty active community. Most that pop up will play music for 30 minutes to an hour, but a couple regular stations might stay on for hours on a Friday night.
Notably missing: subversive stuff, but I feel like that is going to show up more and more.
HF Underground has a message board (www.hfunderground.com/board/) that includes forums dedicated to tracking pirates in north America and Europe. Folks will post what they hear, and update to include songs played etc, and often the pirate will use these to send the participants email QSL cards.
These folks TEND to hang around just under the 40 meter ham band, between 6900-7000Khz, with 6925, 6930, and 6950 being pretty popular. Most pop up as short shows of mostly music, and usually on upper sideband. Scanning there can often find something BUT to find them there is also a secret weapon!
Finding out if you have any local FM pirates is usually a matter of scanning the bands and listening long enough to tell this is not a normal station. They often eventually get caught because someone complains. But then there is my favorite: Pirates on shortwave.
Finally I respond to one of your posts!
Pirate radio by definition is illegal. it is essentially operating without a license our outside of the jurisdiction of your license.
There's a couple kinds out there. FM radio pirates, pretty local, many of whom broadcast all day.
First of all, Bravo. Awaiting the day you collect some of these into a book!
It can be unnerving to realize the common factor in every failed relationship is yourself. But that doesn't mean you are THE shadow, just the one that you can actually work on. 🖤
Hey Hey happy Birthday!
That is really good!
I feel called out 🤣
Ooh! In that case we shall see. We are running to town and if we are back in time....

Hey thanks! (he said playing BSKY catch up)
So many recursive acronym jokes! The first unix email program I used was ELM (named for ELectronic Mail). Then it was replaced by PINE (Pine Is Not Elm).
Overslept and then had to run errands and couldn't make it this week. I hope it was a good one!
I REFUSE TO WAKE UP
Such memories of grape popsicles made in these with grape juice from frozen concentrate!
I love their mom and all her kids!
