One common mistake I see people making is thinking that a symbol on the map is a path when it isn't!
Some examples shown in the video in the comments.

My Ron Hill Reverence lasted really well but after 1500km it's time to replace them.

Yes the Gardoms fake is very realistic.
This one is in Northumberland, I spotted it on the map so went to have a look. It took a bit of heather bashing but worth it.

Today's interesting find. A Cup and Ring carved rock.

A beautiful slow worm basking in the morning sun.

I almost stood on it but spotted it just in time.
