Also this isn't limited to just nudity and sex. A lot of these porn bans consider depictions of queer relationships, trans people, and gender nonconformity as "pornographic."
By trying to protect only yourself, you are harming so many others

Send me a message if you’d like one. I will throw in a free riso print of the Green Fairy and other surprises! I would prefer to ship within the US but I can try to figure out international shipping.

Red illustrated cover with two matroshka dolls on the front, one of Christ the other a smiling Baba Yaga. The title, "In the Woods" appears below these in Slavic style font.
Page from the interior of "In the Woods" showing a Christ figure talking with Baba Yaga at night around a campfire.

Cover image for a comic titled "As Before, So Behind (redux)"- a river flows across a dark densely forested landscape as clouds scud across the sky overhead and three white birds fly into the distance.
Interior full page illustration of a woman in a dress and a hat holding a transparent red umbrella while she poses on one leg in the middle of a slowly moving river.
More work waiting to be seen this Saturday at @comicartsmaineport.bsky.social #campfest2026
Below is the cover and an interior image from a piece not previously seen in print in its entirety before now. Deeply personal, it was one of the most difficult books I have ever had to write or illustrate.
Darn right. 😉
I hope you get a brick to take home soon. Barring that- I'll buy you one use in other more nefarious purposes.
Comic cons, I got beef. Five times now in the last year I’ve been invited to participate in a panel. I write back that I’m disabled but would be happy to attend virtually and not ONE of you bother to respond back to me. Somebody have the decency to treat the disabled comics community respectfully.
Cover of a comic book. Two figures, one a woman, the other reptilian, sit at a bar, a glass half empty between them. Green smoke rises from a cigarette and assumes the silhouette of a demonic skull. The title of the comic "Equivokation" is carved into the bar top.
An interior comic page from "Equivokation" featuring a street magician releasing a dove in front of his audience.
Just showcasing some of the work I'll be debuting this Saturday at @comicartsmaineport.bsky.social

Though as it was explained to me by a local apiarist, "africanized" is a misnomer. Their aggression is the only readily identifiable change. There are no accepted genetic or easily examined morphological distinctions for the hybrid.
Okay! This makes sense. We have occasional problems with this in Maine- though with our climate, they're not (yet) endemic.
Maybe an aggressive native species? I'm not familiar with the regional species. I would have thought crossbreeding with something from outside the area.🤔
What the heck was he doing? Walking right into the hives?
Just backed this. I'm feeling these feels occasionally, too.

This is a beautiful image. Thank you for sharing. I just showed it to my seven year old daughter. She got pretty big eyes when I told her what it was about.
NASA just dropped this image of Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch looking back at us. The first woman to ever see our planet in its entirety. I’m not crying you’re crying 🥹🔭🧪 📸: NASA

I am neither a Serious Person™ nor serious about bookkeeping, but I am deadly serious about people getting paid on time (as in immediately). But I highly recommend learning about it via Cartoonists United if you get the chance.
A graphic announcing an event hosted by Cartoonists United. The event is titled "Explicit Comics, Censorship, and Freedom of Speech" and is being held on April 10th at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM GMT / 5 AM April 11th AET. Text reads, "Join host Iris Jay with cartoonists Maia Kobabe, Taylor Titmouse, and PomPoison as they discuss censorship in the comics scene and their personal experiences, triumphs, and struggles creating explicit comics." Various cartoonish drawings of the mascots Inkling and Nibford surround the informative text, with cheeky references to emojis used for explicit texting (eggplant, peach, cherries).
On April 10th, join host Iris Jay & cartoonists Maia Kobabe, Taylor Titmouse, and PomPoison as they talk about censorship, personal struggles with suppression, and triumphs in the contentious arenas of erotic comics and internet privacy.
Open to the public! cartoonist.coop/calendar/
