i just realized how cheap this deck is. if you cut out tunic ($100), fleshbag ($70), and scabskins ($30) to make it budget, it's a $75 deck. closer to $90 if you rock all three thick hide hunters like i would want. but damn, that's some good value. can even cut trex to make it sub $50!

won a win-a-box on my tuffnut build! beat fatigue pleiades, victor, and an aggro lyath. used rok for the first two and meataxe for the lyath. and i got to choose omens for my box so i have one waiting for me when it comes out 😄
adrullan online adventures is a really cool game. i wish it was up full-time rather than just in these limited playtests. i’ve tried to get into everquest so many times but could never get over some of the old ui/ux, but adrullan is juuuust modern enough to feel like i’m not fighting the game lol
sure, i’m just saying armory and budget decks are still playable and enjoyable, without needing to spend hundreds of dollars to begin playing. many people i know started on budget decks or armory decks. telling people you have to drop hundreds (esp in this economy) to begin playing sucks :(

happy 20th birthday to the haruhi anime. i first saw it over a decade ago and still nothing has quite surpassed it for me, especially the movie. still holding out hope for an eventual adaption of intrigues/dissociations/surprise (and ofc all the side stories)

this might be kinda out there but every time i see jacob clements, i see wizzrobe (the smash player) and vice versa. there was a brief time i thought they were the same person and i was like, i didn't know wizzrobe was british?

it's a real problem of "chat rooms as guides." 95% of the people posting a question will not use the search function/check pins, so the "regulars" end up seeing the same questions a lot. and if you as an individual are asked the same question 100 times, it's hard not to be annoyed
i never go to purple for anything other than someone linking a list that did well at a calling and checking some prices not on tcgplayer, it's just not worth it
it is def subjective. i'm alright with the impermanence when gear comes relatively quickly anyway and the weekly "checklist" isn't that big. meanwhile, there's a few grinds on my ironman that have felt or feel like pure agony and my time def felt disrespected lol. but regardless, i love both
