The option to make elected people accountable for things they have done is there at every election. It’s up to each voter to decide how much their record matters.

FPTP never tried to be, or pretend to be, proportional so you cannot fault it for that. Labour Party won a 400 seat majority simply because they won 400 more seats than everyone else.

No, because it’s a democracy and it’s the people that decide, not one person. And you were given the choice of not voting for him even if you would prefer to vote for his party.
