Today is a good day to remember that Carl Sagan was as outspoken about the dangers of war and nuclear weapons as he was an advocate of space exploration.
sorry--uk media bubble! (and sorry that that creep's page existed in the first place)
(if this story managed to stay contained within the UK and not spread any further, that's also good)
ugh, this is sadly nothing new, remember the 'women eating on tubes' facebook page from 2014? www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazin...
Zola! last year this dude's novels kept me sane; rec. his R-M novel cycle for rhymes with/relief from the insanity of the present moment: super detailed/historically damning, humane, treats women as real people and there are racy/trashy pulp plots to boot, something for everyone ❤️
that looks good, will check it out, thanks!

Best railcar graffiti I've ever seen
In Mario Kart Wii, crashing the game and activating the crash handler will eventually start playing back the contents of the Wii's RAM as sound. Since the data was never intended to be interpreted like this, it ends up sounding like experimental harsh noise music.
They are a total mystery to me too, and I take their bandcamp bio with a huge sprinkle of salt--but have sent them a message and will let you know what is revealed if they ever get back. Thanks for listening to AISM!
it has its moments!
Mickey 17? (but it was mostly played for comedy)

90s Chloe sevigny sitting demurely in a one shoulder black minidress with a corsage, also wearing tiger striped orangey tights that are the inspiration for the elusive Swedish Stockings tiger tights of today
not sure how serious this is but buy them, they will go out of stock again in five minutes like the last batch of stock did and you might regret it. if there's enough will, anyone can wear anything! people can't get over this 90s pic of Chloe Sevigny and will fight you for them.
You sure this isn't just SUNO? There's no information at all about this guy anywhere beyond that upload dump on bandcamp...

The Shards is so good. I hate to to even mention it because it's on spotify, but some guy there put together a playlist of all the songs that are mentioned in that book and it is a monster tribute & labour of love
The first comment on YouTube for this video is "This song sounds like it's airbrushed onto the side of a van" and there has perhaps never been a more apt assessment of a song than this
