my little comfort setup in sts2 has been custom defect runs with sealed deck, all star, flight, vintage, and regent cards. i don't really vibe with solo runs as much as i do multiplayer, so having something a little more sandbox-y to grind out has been a godsend while sick

supporting indie productions means coming to terms with the fact that less upfront resources typically means more sacrifice and compromise. and sometimes that compromise comes in the form of collaborating with a Big Corporate Entity(tm) because even if you don't like their methods, they've got tools

the fact that a webseries is gonna be showing in theaters is nuts. the fact they were able to negotiate down to just a two week gap is INSANE. these are huge wins that put a foot in the door for literally every other indie production out there! why can't you just celebrate?

this kinda highlights part of the problem with the "indies will save the world" mindset a lot of folks have; it's not pro-indie so much as it's anti-corporate. and any time an indie production has to play by the rules or risk not getting to do ANYTHING, people immediately throw a shit fit

honestly just hate that i've been doing my damnedest to mask up and wash my hands and disinfect surfaces and it just doesn't matter. i'm gonna miss out on the big concert i've been prepping for for months over this. i'm so tired
