Same camping issue. I reduce this feeling at least for the aranet, by just always leaving it in one of my blazer open pocket, and just check my watch. No more fumbling with it.

Besides aranet I have an airvalent that fits the description you just gave.

But I actually only use the aranet because I plug it into my apple watch and put the aranet in my go bag, so I can read it from my watch at home and outisde.

1. Not yet. If I see several demands, i will put it on my roadmaps. Issue is that I only have 1 aranet to battle test this feature...
2. Cost depends on length. Per month 2 dollars if monthly, 1 dollar if yearly, 20 dollars if lifetime.
