It's remarkable how interviewers constantly soft-ball him, and yet he still makes himself look exceptionally bad.

Apologies if I was overly sensitive about it. ๐ People get such misunderstandings about swarms (fearing them, using insecticide on them, no idea why they happen). When they're likened to a plague or something strange/bad I have the impulse to educate.
I'm not defending Israel here, mind you. I'm just saying...the idea that this is weird or angry bee behavior is such misinformation.
This is normal, healthy bee behavior. It's joyous, as a beekeeper, to stand amongst the bees when they are swirling around and slowly collecting themselves so they can prepare to find a new home. This is how colonies reproduce.
Swarms are usually docile. As a beekeeper we will happily house them.
I had a surgical attending who liked to curse Murphy (of Murphy's Law) when things would go unexpectedly awry. I internally laughed, because my father's nickname is Murphy.
This is one of those days on the consult service where I'm reminded that I am well and truly Murphy's daughter.

It's appearing effective on the nectarine so far ๐ค๐ผ did my second treatment yesterday. My nectaplum is heavily affected; my prognosis on her is more guarded so far. They recommend weekly garlic for at least 4 weeks.
I need to do some work today to ensure my bees don't swarm before there are enough drones in the sky to ensure adequate fertility.
But there's also this thing going on where my "leader" is threatening a genocide, and for some reason, the world is proceeding as if this is normal.
Dizzying.
This Easter Sunday, I hope every Christian who voted for Trump says a blessing and asks themselves:
What warcrimes would Jesus do?
Haven't been able to find credible confirmation yet.
Can garlic oil cure peach leaf curl? Tune in at the end of April to find out more.
Appreciate you, Vera. Do what you need to do.
Rude to potatoes.
I vote for the elites facing the consequences of their actions.
Thank you! I've enjoyed the planter situation. It's so tempting to start tomatoes and peppers super early. I've done that many a time. This year I may well be late, though, and I don't think that's better. ๐ Work on the mini farm is never done.
Quietly spending my days watching the bees and tending the plants while the world swirls into chaos. Soil blocking experiments are ongoing.
I've been both fortunate and highly determined to avoid paying interest on depreciating assets. The car industry is set to topple like it's '08 housing ๐ฌ
Pt was bleeding profusely in the triage of my psych ED, and nothing short of "Eyes on me, I'm the fucking doctor" seemed to work on the paramedics. My poor scribe. He looked so apologetic.
The degree of my snark has always depended on the level of disrespect and the intensity of the situation. Usually a flat "I'm Dr. Lex" will do. Snark came out when an ED doc consulted me and then referred to me as "the girl over there," and when in an emergency people kept looking at my 19 yo scribe
Country Mouse Adventures 2026 Edition: New York City is some other planet, and I do not understand this honk-based language.

AI says and does some very strange things once it gets spinning, it's true.
I really wish we could put a lid on Pandora's box for a moment and create regulatory frameworks to safeguard society...will not happen, of course. Silly ideas!
Every senator who voted to confirm RFK Jr owns this tragedy. Every single one.
Encountered an article about how millenials are dating themselves with their skinny jeans.
Funny, I just wear styles I find comfortable and appealing; that is, was, and will always be flares and cargos. Cargos are "in" now, but I assure you, I'm only fashionable on accident.

Or the cheatings...here's hoping the states stand up for themselves
I love using em dashes. It will be my downfall, I'm sure.
Sometimes it feels like someone else must have written the early parts of my story, because I don't remember putting those words together, especially if they look good.
I'm so intrigued!
I've never made pasta before, but I'm so interested to try. How hard was it?
In reading a bunch about AI futures, this is the (unlikely) future I would like to see:
A surge in employee-owned cooperative businesses as AI takes the jobs of corporate decision makers for day-to-day operations, while people-facing jobs gain respect and wealth.
Unlikely, but a leftist can dream.
