“No.”

I had the opportunity to confront Pete Hegseth's bigoted spiritual mentor, Pastor Doug Wilson, and call him out on his history of hate, his misreading of the Bible, his hijacking of Jesus, and his cosplay Crusading.

It was worth it.

This should be bigger news than the Autopen bullshit. He couldn’t be in the room for a major military operation. He’s unfit for office.

I could only imagine the fake uproar from fascist republicans and calls for the 25th amendment as well as impeachment if President Obama or President Biden were purposely locked out from the situation room by heads of military during a rescue mission because of erratic behavior.

It's been approximately 10 months since the assassination of Melissa Hortman, her husband and her dog, and there hasn't been any justice for her friends and family. Never forget them 💔

I hope the takeover of InfoWars by @theonion.com and @timheidecker.bsky.social that resulted from the bankruptcy brought on by Alex Jones’ evil attacks on the victims of Sandy Hook brings you as much joy as it does me.

Oh boy- that reminds me of when i was working for senator Reid. I had to pull a well known Senator aside to ask him not to use that word anymore. Trying to explain what it meant to was rough. I was embarrassed af. I found out what it meant when my staff showed me the definition on urban dictionary

A new, telling sign emerges about GOP’s midterm fears Tony Gonzales resigned from Congress nearly a week ago. Why hasn’t Republican Gov. Greg Abbott set a special election?

If Abbott keeps Gonzales’ seat vacant until November, it would deprive House Republicans a vote in their narrow majority. However, if Abbott called a special election for this summer and a Democrat won, it would be even worse for the GOP. (cont.)

“This is the most corrupt administration not only in American history, but more corrupt than I could ever have imagined a president would be able to get away with to the extent that he has. It’s shocking to me.”

For those attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner this weekend, a small question:

When you're sitting there at your table, do you think it'll cross your mind that the guest of honor is actively covering up his role in a massive child sex trafficking operation?

THE WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' ASSOCIATION
MUST SEND A FORTHRIGHT MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
CONDEMNING HIS ATTACKS ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT
To the Officers, Board of Directors, and Members of the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA):
We, the undersigned, call upon the White House Correspondents' Association to use the occasion of the White House Correspondents' Dinner, to forcefully demonstrate opposition to President Trump's efforts to trample freedom of the press.
The dinner has long served as a symbol of the vital and irreplaceable role of a free press in American democracy and a celebration of the First Amendment and the journalists who uphold it. President Trump's systematic, sustained, and unprecedented attacks on the free press (detailed below) render his presence at such an event a profound contradiction of its purpose.
The collective weight of the administration's actions - retaliatory access bans, coercive regulatory investigations, frivolous lawsuits against the press, defunding of public broadcasting, dismantling of international broadcasting, physical restrictions on journalists, personal verbal attacks on reporters, assaults on the media in official White House press releases and social media posts, the arrest of journalists, and the pardoning of those who committed violence against the press — represent the most systematic and comprehensive assault on freedom of the press by a sitting American president.
There is a long tradition of presidents attending the White House Correspondents Association Dinner. But these are not normal times, and this cannot be business as usual with the press standing up to applaud the man who attacks them on a daily basis.

We understand that some journalists plan to wear pocket handkerchiefs or lapel pins with the words of the First Amendment. And continuing in that spirit, we believe the White House Correspondents Association should take stronger action by issuing - from the podium - a forceful defense of freedom of the press and condemnation of those who threaten that freedom, followed by a standing toast to the First Amendment and a pledge to continue upholding such a critical cornerstone of our democracy. Speak forcefully, in front of the man who seeks to undermine our country's long tradition of an independent, strong, and free press.
We also urge the WHCA to reaffirm, without equivocation, that freedom of the press is not a partisan issue and that the Association will not normalize this behavior but instead fight back against any officeholder who has waged systematic war against the journalists whose work the dinner celebrates.

100s of journalists — Dan Rather, Sam Donaldson, Jackie Judd and others — have written to the WHCA asking to take a stand against Trump’s efforts to trample freedom of press.

Why Consumers are F*cked Trump's Never-ending War and Trump's Never-ending Tariffs are pushing up Never-ending price increases

Trump's Never-ending War and Trump's Never-ending Tariffs are pushing up Never-ending price increases. All of this is happening because of the unilateral decision making of one man. The question is, will he pay the price for it during the midterms?
