Why does the Allentown event run on consecutive nights (Fri/Sat) rather than a full day on Saturday, starting in the afternoon, like San Antonio?

Agreed. Still a lot of BD standard stuff going on but the ballad through the finale is really, really good and interesting.

Gotta admit, we’re glad BD is in 3rd or 4th so we can start liking them again.

This is the way to watch a drum corps show. Food, drinks, snacks, and air conditioning.

Ok drum corps stats people…what’s the latest date a drum corps received their first score of the season and still won championships? And/or, latest date first score, highest score at championships?

Bluecoats are in mid-season form already. The show still feels like Bloo but is something fresh at the same time.

We don’t understand much of what we just saw from Carolina Crown, but we know that horn line is on par with their best. Wow!

Phantom has a lot of potential in that program. Shouldn’t be too difficult for them to really squeeze the juice out of it. Solid.

Solid performance from the Cavaliers. Much more Cavalier-like than recent programs, in look, feel, and sound. Nice job!

Honestly, it really feels like it was done on purpose at this point.
