Question. Is motherhood basically just running after your kids to get the boogers out of their nose? I don't have kids, just my momma. #caregiving #alzheimerscaregiving #endalz

I also learned that in 8 years I have raised over $15k for the @alzassociation.bsky.social and I'm sorta blown away by that fact.

I had an epiphany today. #Caregiving is awful and there's not much of a bright side. But if I go though all the trial and errors of trying to take care of my LO, I can share what I've learned to hopefully make the experience easier for other caregivers.

Hello. Medicaid pays for my mom's medication and incontinence supplies. Do you know how expensive adult diapers and chucks are?

They also pay for 84 hours of home aides a week.

And NYC's HRA gave me PTSD as a bonus for getting mom signed up. 👍👍

So I think that makes me better qualified than Robert F.ricken Kennedy Jr.

Dude. I watch enough of those stupid Medicare advantage commercials to know how to answer... But also I manage Medicare and Medicaid for my mom so I have actual first hand knowledge too.
