They’re banning TikTok not because it harvests data, the same way US social media does, but because they can’t influence it’s algorithm with congressional hearings or government contracts the way they do every other tech giant. That’s it.

Honestly, I didn't even notice the furry reference until you pointed it out. But that is hilarious, especially the "block all the furry" mod lists. I had no idea those existed, and now I want to be added to them even though I'm not a furry, just because.
