Honestly they've failed at the QB thing since at least 2018, (Terrell Edmunds over Lamar Jackson in the 1st; picked Mason Rudolph in the 3rd). Then obviously taking Pickett was dumb - and even worse was not trading T.J. the minute they realized how bad Pickett was, which condemned them to mediocrity

UNC should get Terrence Brown and one of Juke Harris/Paul McNeil/Matt Able. With Avdalas already on board, that's 3 good additions; Dixon is the only top 100 guy we lost. Main thing is keeping Veesar, then filling gaps with Euro players or 5th year guys (Trimble?) if the NCAA makes that rule change.
Fuck Aaron Rodgers. Draft a QB in the 3rd/4th round. Start Will Howard. If he's good, fine. If he sucks, that's also fine. #Steelers will be better positioned to get a franchise QB next season. Just do not repeat the Pickett fuckup by taking Simpson in the 1st when we don't have a LG or LT #HereWeGo
I really doubt he Leeroy Jenkins'ed it without some personal benefit, in the sense that quite literally everything he does is for his direct personal benefit. So, what was that benefit - and why are our media too neutered to question it, in the absence of any coherent rationale from the White House?
Not enough people are asking if the guy who sells pardons and sells seats on his Board of Peace and sells gold cards for citizenship and probably sold (is selling?) classified documents also sold America's military by being bribed (in crypto?) to invade Iraq for the benefit of Putin, Bibi and MBS.
Bari Weiss's propagandists pretend gas prices are $2.05
How CBS uses its platform today: picking photos that imply gas prices are about 50% lower than they actually are.
Bari Weiss's propaganda outlet pretends gas prices are half of what they actually are
This photo choice by Bari Weiss's state media propagandists is wild. AAA says the national average gas price today is $3.986
The real story… under any other president this would be jail time…

Well yeah, Trump is a pathological liar but somebody could watch thousands of hours of CNBC coverage and never know it. Guess it isn't newsworthy.
He's a fucking liar, is the thing.
mind-boggling to me that i still have yet to see a single democrat utter the phrase “every republican president of your lifetime has destroyed the economy and started a war”
Oh it's "the death throes of a dying regime" alright but
All five boroughs. Probably got a violation in the Bronx and said fuck it, let's get one in Staten Island too, just to complete the set.
When you think about it, yelling "play 'Outfit!'" at Jason Isbell during a concert is kind of like yelling "print 'Amish Give Up!'" at the latest issue of The Onion.
It's the Disenfranchise Married Women Act
"I want to protect my wife's right to vote" seems like an insane thing to say - but it's exactly what husbands who give a shit about their wives or democracy or basic decency MUST say, loudly and urgently. Call the Orwellian-named SAVE Act what it really is - the Married Woman Disenfranchisement Act
If you want evidence that there's no justice in the world, you could do worse than the fact that Condi Rice should be in fucking prison, and instead she has an ownership stake in the Denver Broncos, at least three sweet board seats that I know about and a series of gigs at Stanford.
Just think, if Bernie had won, Tulsi Gabbard could've been the Director of National Intelligence.
Defense secretary openly states that a pro-Trump billionaire taking over a news network (following regulatory help from the administration) will result in coverage more favorable for the administration.
Maintaining control is why they'll kill the filibuster. And surely they don't fear lawsuits that will be decided by the same SCOTUS that made the President a God-Emperor to whom no laws apply if he claims his acts are part of his official duties. Hence our current dystopia of murder and corruption.
Voting works until it doesn't - i.e., when the GOP kills the filibuster to pass the SAVE Act.
Just a few months ago, Jim Cramer was urging CEOs to "just go with the program! Don't fight the guy! Trump's on roll!"
Jim Cramer is a fluffer for oligarchs who'd gladly send your children and mine to die in an occupied Iran if it made stonks go up 2%, is what I'm saying.

Maybe it will happen in an hour.
Aaron Rodgers can fuck off to his yurt. Steelers should go with Howard, Rudolph and either Thompson or a Day 3 pick this season, probably suck ass, and then pick Moore or Sayin next year. Is the only way out of this perpetual 9-10 win/7-8 loss hell.
As millions of Americans were losing their SNAP benefits the Pentagon spent:
🔹️$6.9 million worth of lobster tails🦞
🔹️$15.1 million for ribeye steak 🥩
🔹️$2 million for Alaskan king crab 🦀
🔹️ and even $98,329 on a Steinway & Sons grand piano

Honestly I wanted Watt traded the minute it was obvious that Pickett was ass. I still wouldn't mind it, but now is trade value is a lot lower due to his age and contract.
I don't care? If he's good, our QB problem is solved cheap. If he sucks, then we'll be in a better position to draft Julian Sayin, Dante Moore or whoever in 2027. The only thing we can't afford to be is "too good to get a high pick but too bad to get our first playoff win since 2016."
I don't recall defending Rodgers, champ. What I do recall are the past 5 seasons of 9-10 wins vs. 7-8 losses. I'd rather start Howard, Rudolph or Geno Smith (who can be had for the veteran minimum), suck this season and draft a franchise QB next year than rack up 9-10 hollow wins with mid-ass Mac.
No, nobody trades into the first round with dreams of drafting somebody mid. The Patriots literally picked Jones in the first round, learned he was mid and dumped him for a 6th rounder. Same with the Steelers and Kenny Pickett. If you're taking a QB in the first round, he better be a franchise guy.
