The only issues I've ever had were bugs or mods conflicts. The game does run smooth if you have the correct hardware. My laptop is mod and can also run the vanilla game no problem.

Is #thesims4 dlc only going to be expansion packs and kits?

Bars don't need both areas open. I put the non mixing side against walls and it still works
