WNBA ROSTERS EXPLAINED Each WNBA team will have training camp beginning April 19th, to determine which players make the official roster. Each team has 12 roster spots available and a hard salary cap. This means all player salaries MUST fit under the $7M cap. Each team will receive 2 developmental spots for players with less than 5 years of service. These players do not effect the cap and can play a maximum of 12 games. All spots are available but players on guaranteed contracts are more likely to make the team. Final Rosters will be set by May 7th THIRTY
