The ref seemed to be indicating that she thought the ball looped and hit the outside of the net. Which it clearly didn’t. If she thought it was offside (as per commentary deliberations) it was not communicated well at all.
Can the goal be reinstated if the call is found to be fundamentally wrong?
It seems to me that none of the current cohort have thoughts of retiring before Brazil. It would go some way to explaining why so few significant changes are being tested. Thoughts?
