It's basically the Arizona Coyotes. Played last year as Utah Hockey Club and changed to the Mammoth this season. They play in the Delta Center and had some sight line problems like when the Islanders played in the Nets arena in Brooklyn.
Chocowinity used to be the FCC city of license for WITN-TV. And, TV station used to be off the part of Highway 17 that was replaced by the new bypass bridge. They were still in that station until 2013
Around 1996, they added teams in Jacksonville, Pensacola, Mobile, Biloxi, New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Alexandria. And, they all leaned heavy into fighting.
Mine was IceCaps in college. So, yes Brophy was enemy #1. I worked at the Biloxi Sun-Herald in 96-97 and would take the photo pass on night's I was off. First time I was ever booed for wearing a sweater was walking through the newsroom wearing my IceCap one
William Byron on Dayton 500 hit on the Golf Channel. Huge Caniac

1996-97 ECHL I-10 hockey leaned heavy in on fighting. And going to the first-ever (pre-season) Sea Wolves home game has inspired me to never miss a pre-season game when it's part of my season ticket package.

When you finish, look up who was Bob Barker's neighbor at the time.
I see that Empire Properties has shut down Salisbury Street to crane in that new soundproof studio for @giglioog.bsky.social and @joeovies.bsky.social
Plus questioning golfers about its weigh vs the Wanamaker
Bump!
Plus one of the on course reporters for Golf/CBS has been talking up the Stars all playoffs.
Not going to be a factor in, but almost every golfer from NC lists themselves as a huge Caniac. I tried to catch the replays of a walk-and-talk interview at the Truist where I thought I heard Andrew Novak greeted with a "let's go Canes" chant.
If I had a dollar for any time over my career a recruiter in the tri-state area emailed me thinking that Raleigh is next to Charlotte ("local candidates only", ha!), I could have two really nice sets of clubs for me and my Dad.
Maybe to prevent twisting the mission of the foundation after the passing of people who would directly know the founders' true intentions? That's a ton of resources under the control of one entity. Get the resources in the hands of groups that can continue the work on each issue.
The digital equivalent of the $1.50 pimento cheese sandwich
It's hosted by the club that is epitome of exclusivity, but the tournament website grants the easiest access for anyone with a web browser and internet connection to watch whatever happens any time during the entire tournament week
My favorite yearly flex. They broadcast everything live, and you don't even need the Masters.com account. The early week practice, the Par 3 tournament, the ceremonial tee off. I guess it's a way for IBM and AT&T to show off.
Of note as well, almost every TV timeout tee shirt throw-out I've seen this year has included these secrions
There's more of a concrete wall with stairs to reach the seats in the endzone sections which would be needed to removed to get to concourse level. It's going to be easier to crane out the seating from these sections and not have to do major demo
This has to be from when they switched from ABC to CBS in the mid-80s

There was a story in the NYT a few months ago about how the NCGA was not keeping up with current building code standards recommendations
And those counties in red at the coast have either gone through 1 or more of those events or are vulnerable to rising sea level. Hardly anyone lives in the light orange area on the Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula
South Carolina hasn't had 4 100+ year floods since 1996.
