I have a friend whose dad owns a company that was getting audited by the IRS. he removed all the chairs from the entire building and made the IRS guy walk across the street with boxes to do the audit if he wanted to sit down. Needless to say the audit didn’t last long.

Woke up at 10:28. Managed to shower, get dressed, do hair, attend to the cats, and make it to my 11 am acupuncture appointment.

I cancelled some going to the movie plans tonight so that I could stay in. I love secret cinema nights at the Beacon, but pajamatime at home sounded better.

So I'm catching up on Noirvember films at home. It's queer-noir night tonight, so Desert Fury, Gilda, and The Big Clock are on tap.

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc

There's a cemetery near me that has all the usual graveyard stuff -- old graves, new graves, gravestones made of rocks -- but it's very uniquely infused with such personality and joy! It's truly a delight to wander through and find something new each time
