hello monday my old friend ( -_-)
I'm slowly losing my mind, there's construction at the top of my street like 5 houses down and they're clearly bashing in massive metal beams for the foundation of some kind of apartment and it's been rhythmically shacking my fucking walls, desk, PC kitchen and door frames to the point of insanity
an ink sketch style side portrait of a goblin-esque character with a smug expression wearing a large hat and fancy clothes
been busy lately so here have a portrait of a wealthy goblin merchant that my DnD party "rescued" yesterday his name be Garland Kegfoot (0>0)/
(for context goblins in this setting are far more magical than usual settings and about the size of a LOTR goblin)

so you know this means you just have to share any pics you get of people setting it on fire now ;D
those shoes look as though they're sneakers designed by a late medieval silk merchant and I love em :D
;D
so it's a . . . Palm leaf eh ๐;D๐
See this? QRP with your warm/spring art ๐ผ
dive'n deeeeep into the chasm of my inky sketchbook past for this one, not exactly spring but it is "warm" ;D
I really love the look of this and it would make a hella good print :D
also if it helps your brain might be fixated on how the curvature of the surface is not a perfect arc like in other low orbit POV shots on larger planetary bodies (0>0)/
the icon // the artist // the work
Also faceless, for my flesh doesn't define me, even partly
the icon // the artist // the work
seemed like a fun trend to try to do between projects, for "commitment to the bit" reasons I just had to take the opportunity to do a little funny with it ;D
nice to see this little info nugget had some use it seems :D
additionally it's simple but a HUGE help to take step by step notes on exactly how you do/did the style on the sheet like right down to the brushes used and the min/max line thickness
(examples of my own style variation to show it works)
if it helps the boring answer to this is the more familiar you are with what you're drawing (character, pose, style, etc) the faster you'll be. Most of the time burned is by figuring out HOW to draw it, that's why fast artist tend to work in consistent styles they already know the "rules" of
(0>0)/
oof, I know what you mean, I've just deadass started to take my own pics or screen shots from games/vids at any opportunity now on the off chance I may need a particular reference ( -_-)
heck ye!

a close up of the artist staring at a snowflake saying "sometimes I lose myself to the serene dancing of snow as the windless air caresses it softly to the ground in the twilight of spring..." "good god I hate the new krita text tool so god damn much..."
still find myself mostly using Krita (which its just hands down the best free drawing program) but now for the first time an update has summoned my ire and got me procrastinating hard ( -_-)

I've heard (and been meaning to get around to myself) that Breath of death VII and Cthulhu saves the world are surprisingly funny retro styled joke RPGs, they're on steam and only like $4(CAD) each (0>0)/
if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing ๐;D๐

a black and white robotic retro punk punk woman posing with a large and boxy rifle
a humorous black and white cartoon of the artists reacting to and celebrating a follower count of 200 saying "They're just standing there...menacingly!?"
two monster headed women posing while cosplaying another artist characters saying "I think "the moms" Are a little too giddy you got me to wear a dress for once..." "you know in hindsight we know nothing about this IP, does us being sisters make this weird?"
a full coloured cartoon of another artist's fox girl character struggling to hold their bag in the wind while papers blow out of it
It's honesty kinda amazing what just a big scoop of raw honey in a cup of hot water can do for ya, I sweeten my coffee with it in place of normal sugar and that seems to help passively prevent soreness (I often have to yap endlessly IRL) (0>0)/
[side note: it does make it taste a tad more acidic]
NGL, this's got an impressive "METAL album" cover vibe going on, I'm super curious as to how the finished skin will look given nearly all of the Heirloom skins have be real 10/10s (0>0)/
the consistent humorous and whimsical joy you casually yeet around here is a true delight :D
