Not sure why, but I'm shocked that no reporter asked Mike Johnson why CBP/ICE needed additional funding, or why it matters that the Senate bill only provided funding for DHS departments that haven't been getting paid.

He went out and highlighted that this bill gives $0 to ICE/CBP and explained it in a way that made it sound like this bill zeroes out all ICE funding.

And not one single reporter pushed him on that explanation.

Sad that not one single reporter asked Johnson why CBP/ICE needs more money, they're funded, they're being paid.

The Senate bill doesn't change that, it does get paychecks to the rest of DHS that haven't been paid in 40+ days.
