So the lesson is you can put an acrylic painting in water for an hour or two, but take the photo quickly. 2/2

Well there were noticeable changes after a few hours, and within days they were pretty warped and some colors were fading and developing white patches. It might've been the gloss or thickener? The fish are back to normal after drying out, but the piece itself is no more. 1/2
