Seems like whenever my Xbox series x has been (and finished) downloading a new game my BT smart hub decides I’m using too much bandwidth and throttles the fuck out of my net access until I restart it. Bag of shite.

Our local Evri guy is great too. We must be the lucky ones judging by the comments I usually see. UPS is most unreliable in my area - but I don’t blame the drivers - their tracking system seems generally shite

Can any coffee nerds out there explain to me why I prefer Tescos house blend beans (probably old too) vs posh freshly roasted ones? ‘Nice’ beans always taste kinda lemonny to me - don’t think I’m making it too wrong - it’s the same when I get an espresso from somewhere good :-/

Yep. I ordered a bambino plus recently and tried it for a week but sent it back. Very good and is definitely the best choice at that price - but I still love my gaggia classic, nice for the lungos I prefer. Sage felt a bit plasticcy in comparison. Got the gaggia serviced now it’s good as new. ☕️

Went with a baratza ESP. Close second (and more expensive) would have been the DF54 - they seemed to be preferred slightly by reviewers. V impressed with the Baratza! But I’m not a hardcore espresso nerd so maybe more easily pleased :-)

Wife got me the coffee grinder I exhaustively researched and gave it to me early so I could get cracking - absolutely love it so far & feel like I've already worked out how to get the beans I like ground to the right size for the style of (weird) coffee I like!
