THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME was just lovely. Anderson can be hit or miss for me and this is one of his strongest hits. All of his film-making craft and style with a delightful blend of bone dry and slapstick humor and a surprisingly warm human core tying it all together. Loved it.

I'm a little late to the Wes Anderson Fandom, but the Phoenician Scheme was great, seriously, I was entranced.
