It's important to recognise the efforts of Adult Volunteers. This weekend saw our Executive Officer, Lieutenant Nick Jones (second right), return to his old District in Southern Area to 'dine out' Lieutenant Commander Steve Shepherd (centre) as he retired from the Sea Cadets.

This is great news if it happens. The #CadetForces provide a large return on investment both for society more generally and for the Armed Forces which are struggling to recruit. Inflation has put pressure on all of their budgets, with costs being passed on to parents and more work to volunteers.
